Hostal De La Torre

Great.

I stayed two nights and would definitely recommend it. The room was spotless and everything was in order. The receptionist helped me as soon as I arrived, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. It’s also very well located, with shops and restaurants just steps away.

The location was good, and the floor and other surfaces were clean, but I’d never stay here again. We spent two days during Holy Week, trusting the Booking.com photos and the price, and the real place looked nothing like the pictures. The reception area was more like a storage room, with an elliptical machine, a refrigerator, and a microwave surrounded by junk. One day a guy was laughing with a friend on his phone; the next, a woman was doing the receptionist’s nails with a manicure kit spread across the whole counter. The following day, who knows, maybe they’d be holding a spinning class there. The strong air freshener smell made it unbearable, and their solution was to tell me to open the window. The pillows were paper thin, so I folded the bedspread and put it underneath to raise one. Then a bug fell on my head while I was sleeping. The shower holder was rusty.

Melody treated me so kindly, and I’m grateful for all her help. The service was excellent, and thanks to them I had somewhere to sleep that night instead of being left out on the street. I’d recommend this place without hesitation. We’ll see each other again soon, and I’ll be in touch. Thanks for everything.
