The room was pleasant, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom was really spacious. But I ended up in the basement, apparently the only room down at parking-garage level, and there wasn’t a window. They’d made a fake landscape with LED lights instead. The stovetop kept cutting out during cooking and sometimes stayed off for a long time. Laundry is only available if you ask, and only when staff are around in the morning. Those are odd things to leave out of the listing.

Found it at the last minute and it worked out well: clean room and a really good location. The online check-in was a little fiddly, but once you get it started, it’s quick.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a small kitchen, fridge, a big bed, several lighting options, and USB charging ports. Inside the hotel it was quiet, and the street was peaceful too. The city center is close by. Getting in took some figuring out since Apartamentos Valladolid Centro has no reception. Without registering online, you may be left outside a closed door and have to call through the intercom or by phone to give your details. I also waited a little while for the entrance code to work. My main discomfort was that the room was designed for people with disabilities. The bathroom and shower chairs made them awkward for me to use, and the mirror tilted down so I had to bend to see myself, which wasn’t convenient at my height. Apart from that, things were fine.

Modern, spacious, and clean accommodation with air conditioning. Parking can be arranged for €10 a night if requested.

This reservation was a letdown. Email replies were extremely slow, and they weren’t flexible or helpful. It wasn’t what I’d expected.
