Ask for room 5 or 6 during the season if you can. They’re out on an amazing balcony with incredible views. The walls are thin, though, so being noisy could be a problem. Breakfast was good, especially the homemade chocolate cake. The owners are wonderful, and the rooms have so much charm. I couldn’t help giving this place five stars.

Everything here is on the small side, as you’d expect in this town, so don’t come expecting a 50m² suite. We felt at home right away thanks to the friendly welcome. The room was spotless, the bed was good, and we could hear and see the river from it, which I loved. Breakfast on the Terrasse was spectacular, with an even better view. A very cozy hotel with nice rooms. Highly recommended!

A small, lovely hotel in a really convenient spot for the town. The brother and sister who run it were friendly and helpful. I’d recommend it.

I was nervous when Google Maps called Hotel Tio Americano a “1 Star Hotel.” In the US, that makes me picture awful conditions, so I wasn’t sure what to expect as an American planning a trip on Google. No idea how it comes up with those ratings, but by American standards this is more like a 4-5 star hotel. It’s private and comfortable, spotlessly clean, beautifully renovated and modernized, and the service is second to none. Hotel Tio Americano gets my highest recommendation.

The owner knew a lot about the town and the surrounding area, which was great. We really enjoyed our two-night stay and would definitely return if we visit Albarracĺn again. It’s a quaint hotel with nice rooms and a good breakfast. The town is closed to cars unless you’re a resident, but there’s plenty of parking close to the hotel.
