La Huerta

The meals Jan and Inge put together were delicious, with plenty of variety, and dinner with the other guests made each evening feel especially sociable. We loved coming back from a day out and swapping stories by the pool in the afternoon. Inge knows lots about the fun excursions nearby, too. The whole stay felt like visiting friends, including the lovely days and evenings with everyone there. Thanks to Jan, Inge, and all the people we met. We hope to come back.

A car is a good idea for getting around, and Alicante and the palm city of Elche are a reasonably short distance away. We found this B&B in Spain a lovely place to unwind, with Jan and Inge's warm hospitality and wonderful cooking adding so much to the stay. After a few days, you may find yourself wishing you could stay longer. Highly recommended!

Jan and Inge's B&B is wonderful, and it has that coming-home feeling. If we visit Alicante again, we'll make sure to reserve well ahead so we can get a room.

Breakfast in the morning is a quiet time to enjoy on your own. Later, Jan and Inge spoil you with delicious meals shared with the other guests, and that makes for such a warm, sociable atmosphere. You'll be sorry when it's time to leave.
