The owner was friendly, and there’s free parking at this charming old mill house in a quiet village. Breakfast was okay, but I left a bit disappointed after booking because of the good reviews. The room felt small and wasn’t very comfortable to hang out in. There were no outlets by either side of the bed, and the metal headboard knocked against the wall whenever we moved. The bathroom had broken tiles that hadn’t been fixed, and the TV and WiFi reception kept cutting out. The owner brought a router to my room, which helped. Hot water ran out after I filled the tub.

Alejandro was a lovely host and made us feel right at home. He even shared tips on where to buy local wine. We stayed at this beautifully restored old water mill in green parkland, with countryside all around, and it was a perfect stop for us and our dogs. The nearby villages are beautiful and worth a look, and there’s a top class vineyard just a few minutes’ drive away.

We found it wonderfully quiet, surrounded by nature, just right for resting and switching off. The room was comfortable, and having air conditioning was much appreciated in the August heat. Alejandro was so kind and attentive to our pets, who were truly amazing. Thank you so much, and best wishes from Montse & Antonio. We’ll definitely be back!
