Debambú Larios

The kitchen was fully equipped, parking was nearby, and the location was ideal. The bathroom and toilet were so small that it was hard to dry off after a shower without opening the door. That might be fine for a couple, but not so much when staying with friends. The pull-out sofa wasn’t very comfortable either. I’d say the place suits two adults and two children better than four adults. Check-in is at another hotel, though it isn’t far away.

It’s a very clean, comfortable apartment, compact but with everything you need. The location is right by the main street, and the airport bus stop is only a two-minute walk away. I’m surprised the hotel’s rating is so low.

Debambu Larios is handy for getting around, but the parking arrangement was a hassle. It costs $24 a night, isn’t included, and is about five blocks away. In the town centre, traffic and odd streets can make the drive take around 10 minutes. If you have a car, you may need to find street parking, walk to reception, then to the hotel, go back for the car, drive to their recommended car park and walk back again. NOT WORTH IT!!

The flat was fine, and the little rooftop was a nice touch. The location is INCREDIBLE, right in the centre. They hadn’t made up the third bed, the sofa, for our third person, which left a bad impression. Body lotion and an iron were missing too. Otherwise, it was all good.
