Hostal Alvaro I

The manager was really friendly, and everything was very clean. The full bathroom for couples is fantastic. I'll definitely be back! 👍

The room's refrigerator and TV are why I'm giving it two stars. The location is right by the square, so you can hear the town hall clock chime every hour. Getting the key from a pub across the street and leaving it in the lobby when checking out also felt unusual. But mainly, I couldn't sleep at all. The mattress was extremely old and uncomfortable, like my back sank into a hollow, and the pillows were just as bad. I had to use towels for pillows. I got zero rest, and it was a very bad experience. I don't recommend it. For that price I've stayed in much better places, and I'm not even very picky.

The room was spacious and clean, with a refrigerator and air conditioning. Miguel was lovely and helped me find a place to store my motorcycle. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely stay here. Sergio and Aída

We wouldn't stay at this hostel again. It was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the place was quiet enough to unwind, but it didn't match what was advertised. There was no refrigerator in our room and no hairdryer.
