Kind staff and a great view at this beautiful restaurant behind the Monastery. They also have some gluten-free options.

The setting is breathtaking and the staff are wonderful. The menu del día has lots to choose from, with generous portions. If you're in the area, make a point of eating at their restaurant.
The view is spectacular, and the set menu offers plenty of variety. The soup, goats cheese, dorada, pigs cheeks and ice cream deserts were delicious! The menu is in Spanish, so knowing a little helps, though I think most people could muddle through. A phone translator is handy.
We had Christmas dinner here with Sue and Graham (Maxy) Maxwell, two good friends. The location was stunning, and everything made for a fabulous day. Food, service, staff and atmosphere were all excellent. Sue and my wife loved the wine, and Maxy would probably agree that the Irish coffees were fab. We didn't stay overnight, so can't comment on the rooms, but if they're anything like the restaurant, they'll be excellent too. Visiting is an absolute must.
We had an amazing lunch, with beautifully cooked and presented food, a great menu and superb service. It was my first time dining here with Kate Wiffen, whose husband Nick Wiffen shares our anniversary date, and Kate also shares my birthday. My husband was stuck working in the UK, but we kept him included with calls and photos. He even arranged Kate's floral present for us. It was a memorable day, and we'll definitely go back when we have more visitors at our new house in Doña Juaña. Thank you all, happy days!
