I'm giving Hostal Rosaleda five stars because the owner sent me detailed information about the flooding, which helped me avoid the Valencia area. I was travelling to southern Spain when floods devastated the city of Valencia. Hostal Rosaleda was just before the city, so I changed plans and took an alternative route through central Spain. I cancelled my reservation the day before arrival. Even though it was no longer refundable, the owner generously gave me a full refund. Good people really do exist!

I arrived to find the restaurant closed, but you can call the number in your booking email. If you haven't booked, face the restaurant and take the road on the left. The black door there is the hotel rooms entrance, on the side of the same building. I forgot to take a photo, but as a bicycle tourist I can say your bike can be stored safely in reception. You do have to carry it up a small set of stairs. The people were incredibly kind, and you can tell they really care about their guests. They even gave me some oranges. The room was great for the price and super clean. The bathroom had a tub with jets, though I didn't use them. Thanks so much, I hope I can come back!

The owner is a wonderful person and went out of her way to make sure we were enjoying the town. Our room was neat and quiet, and the beds were super comfortable. A great travel experience.

Lovely Hostal, very clean, with great Wi-Fi. There are loads of bars and restaurants nearby, and it's great value for money.

Rosa added a lovely personal touch to our stay at this scrupulously clean hostal. Fabulous experience, I'd recommend it to everyone. Muy, muy, muy bien!!!!
