I came for coffee or dinner, and I’d be just as happy with that if there weren’t a room available. The restaurant is a real highlight, with one of the best meals I’ve ever had, breakfasts included. They may look simple, but they’re mouthwateringly good. The location is wonderful, there’s plenty of parking, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. I didn’t expect much at first, then was completely won over. You won’t regret coming.

The place has a hunting lodge feel, but it’s welcoming to families, couples, and groups of friends. The specials are delicious, the service is top notch, and the quality for the price is fantastic. I’d go for the fixed price meal. After a morning hike, you’ll have worked up an appetite for it.

Cyclists are welcome here, and the family run hotel made us feel very welcome too. The kitchen is good, with excellent dinner and breakfast. Thanks!
