For €18, I didn’t feel it was good value next to other private hostels. Everyone shares one large dorm, and there are only two bathrooms for each group. At 8:45, the cleaning staff came in and hurried people out, then told us off for still being in the common area at exactly 9:01.

The dorm gets really hot at night, and no blanket is provided. There’s just one large room for everyone, not separate dorms of ten, with two showers and two toilets for women and the same number for men. Beds are too short if you’re over 5’7, so you can’t stretch your legs out, and the lockers won’t fit bags or shoes, which end up in the main room. There are much better albergues.

The place itself is really beautiful, and having your own spot in the bedroom is nice. But there are bedbugs, little ones. This is terrible 🤯🤯🤯

The room was so big that it never felt cramped, and the hostel was good for pilgrims. There’s a kitchen and a garden, too. The staff were friendly and let us check in late, around 7pm. Just note there’s no towel or blanket!
