It’s a nice place with a nice pool, and fun for a group, but the owner’s practices made the stay uncomfortable and expensive for what it was. We were expected to leave the house empty and neat or face charges. Only after we’d booked, paid, and arrived were we asked for a 1000 euro deposit and given house rules to sign. I didn’t read them because we were trying to get ready, and the owner walked into the house without regard for our privacy. The rules said the fridge had to be emptied and that we’d be charged if we didn’t do it. The deposit and rules should have been explained upfront, and the owner shouldn’t come into the house every day while it’s rented. It didn’t feel comfortable. A friend ruined one towel, and we were happy to pay for it, but they charged us 30 euros. I offered to buy a set of three towels on Amazon for 20 euros instead, but my request was completely ignored. Dishonest practice. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The outdoor setup was the standout for us: a pool, jacuzzi, eight loungers, four parasols, a Balinese bed, and a big table for eight to ten. There’s also a barbecue and bar, two extra fridges, three awnings, plus a sink and shower by the pool. We had plenty to do, too, with table tennis, pétanque, darts, badminton, and more. Inside, the house has four roomy, comfortable bedrooms and a sofa bed upstairs. We think there are three or four bathrooms, all indoors. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a dishwasher and a large American-style fridge. There’s a snug living room and an enclosed porch with sofas and a table, so there are comfortable places to sit at any time of day. We’d read some Google reviews and arrived a little wary, but had a really positive stay. The owners were friendly and respectful. They only speak French, but we managed to communicate without any trouble. They ask guests to look after the house and avoid wasting water or electricity. They live nearby, with access via a passage near the terrace, but were so discreet that we hardly noticed them. It’s a spacious, well-equipped place that worked well for our group. If you’re planning a wild party or won’t take care of the property, it probably isn’t for you. If you respect the space, the facilities and welcoming hosts make it well worth considering.

We paid €250 for a broken parasol rod, though the parasol fell because its base weights hadn’t been filled with water. We tried to explain, but the owners wouldn’t listen. Meanwhile, the washing machine broke on our first day. They came to inspect it and then left it unrepaired for the rest of the week. The house has activities, but the equipment was in poor shape. The billiard tablecloth was already in terrible condition, and damaging it would cost €2,000. None of the darts had tips. The outdoor ping-pong table came with one sunburned ball and two paddles whose rubber stuck to your hands. The garden was badly maintained, with completely burned lawn, while the other houses nearby had lawns in good shape. We also never saw the irrigation system used. The owners live on the property, in a small garden house screened by vegetation. They’d come over to point out if a light had been left on overnight, and even appeared to switch off the fans in the barbecue area. The place also seemed set up for French guests: the owners barely speak Spanish, and the appliances and house manual are in French. On arrival, they required a €1,000 damage deposit and a signed contract with rules like putting every dish back in its place and leaving sheets on the floor. They said unmet requirements at checkout could be deducted from the deposit. The rooms do have air conditioning, bathroom heating, and TVs, but the house fell far short of expectations. For what we paid, the conditions should have let us enjoy the stay in peace.

At nearly €180 for the cheapest room, charging another €15 for room cleaning feels hard to justify. Breakfast wasn’t homemade and was very meager, either. For this price, I expected things like a decent breakfast buffet and cleaning to be included. I’d pay €80 a night at most, with breakfast included. If you find a deal like that, I’d recommend it. Otherwise, it’s incredibly expensive for what’s offered, and left me feeling ripped off.

We had a fantastic weekend with friends. The pool, jacuzzi, and summer kitchen made the outdoor area a great place to spend time, and the house and property were superb. The hosts were incredibly welcoming. I’d highly recommend it for a good time with friends or family.
