Apartamento El Hechizo Alto

I was left without a reservation or any information after being allowed to book and getting answers to my accommodation questions by email through Booking.com. Later they called and said, “I don't know what could have stopped it, but it was already booked.” Either the accommodation or the booking system has failed badly. Shameful and useless. I strongly advise against booking this apartment if you don't want to be left stranded with no further explanation.

We've tried lots of rural houses because we love Alcalá del Júcar, but El Hechizo is our favorite. It's comfortable, new, beautiful, and has everything you might need. We felt right at home, and the owner was very attentive. There's also a restaurant just across the street with fantastic food. Highly recommend it.

We were very happy with this place. The apartment is cozy and super cheap, quite large and sleeps up to 6, with everything working perfectly and nothing we felt was missing. The woman who runs it was thoughtful and very friendly. There's a great-value bar/restaurant next door, Tapería El Cruce, which I've reviewed too. Alcalá del Júcar is nearby, a really cool town with lots to see, including Turiaventura for activities like rafting and escape rooms. I've reviewed that as well.

Big thanks to Jose and Miguel for making us feel at home. The apartment was spotless, carefully looked after, and had everything we needed. The hosts were so attentive. Their family-run restaurant, El Cruce, serves delicious food. Thanks for everything, we'll definitely be back.
