We’d happily come back. The beds were comfy, and having a kitchenette and lounge gave us a nice place to unwind. Jeysus sorted an early check-in and switched us to a twin room without any fuss, very gracious and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and full of original features, right in the historic old town near some fantastic restaurants.

The pool was a real highlight at night, when the lights made it feel wonderful. The facilities were superb, and the staff were kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. It was an unforgettable stay, and we’d love to repeat it as soon as we can.

We hardly slept during our two nights because the floors aren’t insulated, so noise from upstairs carries straight through. Two different Spanish families staying above us were shouting, singing, dragging furniture, and walking around in heels all night, with no regard for the other guests. At 3:30 am on the second night, we called the owners, who had to go speak with them. It was awful, and we’ll never return. The hosts themselves were pleasant and friendly.

There’s a yard with a pool and sunloungers, plus a shared terrace with tables and chairs where you can relax. The apartments are cosy and full of character, in an old part of town. Everything was pristine clean and well equipped.

Everything was clean, tidy, and quiet. We stayed in this beautiful traditional Andalusian house in Velez city centre, decorated in the style of an Andalusian home. It’s a great choice for a weekend getaway or a cultural visit to Velez. Highly recommended.
