The house is best suited to six people. It has lovely views and sits in the lower part of the village, so there are no hills to climb. Bars, restaurants, a supermarket, parking, and other spots are nearby. The kitchen has all the utensils you need, and they provide a sponge and other things for your stay. Our main problem was that we booked for seven adults, but there were only beds for six. Some of us had to push two small beds together and slept very uncomfortably. We called the owner and were told there was a sofa bed, but it hadn’t been set up or given sheets. It was dirty and so uncomfortable that nobody could sleep on it. Communication with the owner also wasn’t very smooth.

We had a really special week, with plenty of room for all seven of us, a big dining table, fireplace, and barbecue. The owners were fantastic and attentive to every detail. The houses are in a quiet spot with views across the whole village, near the town square and river. I’d love to return, though next time I’d choose one of the other houses in the different area with jacuzzis.

The location is unbeatable, which makes it a shame the house is so poorly maintained. It needs renovation: the shower screen is disgusting, there are too few outlets in the bedrooms, and the paint is peeling or moldy in one room. It also needs a proper clean. The kitchen was sticky and greasy, and the floor clearly hadn’t been mopped in ages. It wasn’t worth what we paid. I attached a photo showing what came off the floor when I wiped a very small patch with paper.

The views and location were good, but I was disappointed by the cleanliness and lack of upkeep. The bathrooms and kitchen needed a lot of cleaning. The shower for four people was tiny, with an old screen covered in mold.

We had a really pleasant stay and would definitely come back when we can get a few days off. The apartment was cozy and had everything we use day to day, just like home. The personal service was friendly and excellent, and it’s a lovely spot for some quiet, memorable days.
