Bungalows Alfacs

The staff were incredibly helpful, especially the manager. The campsite is excellent, with lovely modern, clean facilities. We enjoyed local outings, particularly the Ebra Delta and Peniscola Castle. I’d highly recommend it.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating, and the campsite has a great location and excellent facilities. The bathroom area feels too small for a campsite of this size, though, so it gets crowded and is hard to keep clean. The pitches are a bit small but still roomy enough. There’s a nice beach bar with a lively feel and evening shows, at least in high season.

The store is great and prices there are fair. Staff were friendly, and the location has potential, but at 45€ a night it felt far too expensive for facilities that were run down and dirty. The bathrooms and showers smelled awful and felt damp. The laundry was disgusting: the machine had more than a centimeter of buildup and stank badly. Washing and drying costs 8€, and the machines never seem to get cleaned. The rubbish collection was overflowing, with nowhere for recycling. The pitches were uneven, very sandy and quite small. There was barely enough room around our van to pull out the sunshade, and employees kept driving around, kicking up huge clouds of dust. I wouldn’t return unless the pitches were fixed and the cleaning improved. There’s a lot of potential here.

The pool is beautiful, the restaurant is nice, and the site is right by the beach and very clean. The cabins were in great shape, clean and comfortable, and our two dogs were welcome and enjoyed their time there too. The big problem was the mosquitoes. We couldn’t go outside without spraying ourselves and still got bitten on the face. If we left the room door open for more than five seconds, it filled with mosquitoes. There were no nets on the doors or windows, and it felt like nothing was being done about what seemed like a serious problem, whether traps, spraying or nets. We were bitten so many times, the dogs were covered in mosquitoes, and before bed we spent a whole hour killing them around the room. Please come prepared.
