We were disappointed that there was no heating. The house is warmed with the air conditioning’s heat pump, and on our first day, with small children along, we felt cold. It’s a pretty country house with a fireplace in the hall and three well-equipped mini-apartments, in a good spot near the square.

The terrace table beside the barbecue was a real treat. We had both lunch and dinner there during our lovely week. The place was comfortable and had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. I’d happily come back for another week to enjoy the setting and scenery, and have a comfortable place to eat and unwind.

The house is affordable and well equipped, and works especially well for couples. It’s on Alcaraz’s main street, and the village is well worth visiting for a few days away.

The owners were very friendly, and we were glad to have air conditioning during the heatwave. The domus is a lovely, comfortable mini-apartment. Highly recommended.
