Globales Condes de Alcudia Hotel

We went in September 2025 and found the hotel clean and tidy, with good drinks and food. The pool area was neat and had plenty of sunbeds, and the hotel was close to both town and the beach. The entertainment was okay, and the staff were nice and friendly. My one gripe was that there was no tea or coffee-making equipment in the room. Reception also said I couldn't go into the restaurant to get a coffee before 8 a.m.

I did really enjoy my stay, even though there are a few reasons we'd try somewhere else next time. The restaurant got very busy and noisy, and the plates and cutlery felt grimy. The entertainment was only for children. When we asked, we were told it's a family hotel, but adults like entertainment too, and every child comes with an adult. The location was perfect, and our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The food was good, though not great. It was a nice holiday overall.

The staff were all helpful and smiling, and even with the pool bar team so busy, the service stayed great. We couldn't fault any part of the hotel. It was spotless, with cleaners constantly looking after the main areas, restaurant, and pool. The location worked really well too, within walking distance of the beach, yacht port, and promenade. I had some doubts going in. Last year I stayed at a 4-star place in Alcudia and didn't feel it was worth the money, so this time I picked a 3-star hotel, figuring we could eat out or spend time at the beach if we weren't happy. There was always something to choose from at meals, and the Mexican-themed dinner was fab. Thanks, and I hope to see you again.

I found a large cockroach in my shower, then spent the whole night at reception after being told they'd leave a note for the day staff to move me. In the morning, Miguel at reception said there was no room and told me to go home. When the manager arrived, Miguel called me a liar. I was already very upset because my husband had just passed away, and this holiday was meant to give my hard-working nurse daughter and me some time together. I felt so uncomfortable. This was the worst holiday I've ever had, and a complete nightmare. I will be taking this further. Don't stay here if you don't want to share your room with cockroaches.
