The sangria at the hotel bar was the best we tried in Seville, and I’d recommend having some in the lounge. We stayed at Hotel Colón Gran Meliá as part of our Luxury Gold tour, and it was one of many great hotels on our trip. The rooms and shared spaces were spotless, luxurious, and comfortable. The hotel has elegant interiors and a lovely feel, especially around the lobby bar beneath the glass ceiling. Staff were friendly and professional, making us feel welcome from arrival. It’s right in the heart of Seville, within walking distance of tapas bars, attractions, shopping streets, and many main sights, so it was a great base. The pool was extremely small, but that was a minor downside compared with everything else. I’d gladly stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Seville.

We loved the bar on our first night and had the breakfast buffet every morning. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, just right for resting between all the excitement. With beautiful interiors and top tier dining, this was our favorite hotel of the Europe trip. The service was top tier too. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Sevilla!

Maria, the Guest Experience Manager, and her team turned our stay around with care, professionalism, and real warmth. They took such good care of us afterward that everything felt flawless, and we never lacked for anything. Their attention to detail and dedication to guests stood out. A big thank you to Maria and the whole team for making our babymoon special. We did have a rocky start at the Gran Meliá Colón in Seville and had to change rooms twice. Even so, the hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location, and the team made us feel comfortable and looked after throughout. We had a wonderful experience overall, would absolutely return, and highly recommend the hotel.

I had a great time at Hotel Colon. The bathroom joints looked a bit old and moldy, and the hand cream had already been opened before we arrived, or perhaps hadn’t been replaced. They sorted the cream issue quickly and efficiently. The staff gave great service, and the restaurant and bar were really nice.

This was our second stay, and we spent eight days in red level. Every member of staff was fantastic, and the place is stylish, clean, and comfortable throughout. Red Level was a real upgrade from our previous visit, though the regular level was wonderful too. It feels like a reliably great place to stay. Can strongly recommend.
