Grupotel Port d'Alcudia

The food was generally decent, seafood included, and having a kitchenette in the room was handy. It’s also a family-friendly hotel with a quiet atmosphere. But the pool setup was frustrating: it only opens from 10:00 to 19:00, and people often have to wait to get in. Dinner is served for just two hours, so you can miss it if you’re out at the wrong time. The loungers sag and aren’t comfortable, and pool towels are changed only three times a week. Entertainment stops at 9:30 PM, then it gets pretty boring, with no music even by the pool. Restaurant service was poor during our stay. One waiter shouted at guests in front of everyone, which was really unpleasant.

The hotel itself was VERY clean, but we found ants in every room we had, so don't leave food around. It was also somewhat loud because some very busy restaurants are nearby. They should advertise the playground next door.

It’s a great spot and I loved the location. I just wish coffee were available around the clock.

The pool was really good, with plenty of seating and sunbeds, and there’s an outdoor bar for what you need. The pool bar serves food in the afternoon, and if you’re all inclusive, you can help yourself to ice cream and lollies from the freezer. The staff were incredibly helpful, the food was brill, and it’s a brilliant, fantastic place. Entertainment was okay, with some doggie turns, but the kids enjoyed getting involved, which is what parents want to see.
