We'd already been here twice with my cycling club, but this was my first trip as a couple, with my wife instead of 70 club members. We came in early March, when Mallorca's weather is still out of season, and it was also the first week the resort was open. Maxi, who leads customer service, helped us get a room overlooking the nature reserve, which was wonderful. The resort was generally quiet, though it felt busier around some meal times. There were more locals than later in the season because a Spanish public holiday fell when we arrived. The place is friendly, with mostly German, Spanish, and British guests during our stay. For cyclists, Port Blue is amazing: you can rent road bikes on site and head straight onto the seafront bike lane. We also used the spa, which was fun and had good facilities. Half board worked very well for us, and the food was really good. I personally wouldn't choose bed and breakfast here, since the rooms and suites have no food preparation facilities, not even a microwave. If you like having everything in one place and don't mind being away from a town, it's excellent. Buses run to Port Polencia and Alcudia, which has some history. You can also rent a car at Palma airport for the week for the same price as a return transfer, €160 in March, and visit places farther afield such as Lluc and Soller.

The room was fantastic and everything felt very new. We haven't explored the location yet, but it looks beautiful. Restaurants and food are very good, and the shows and music are good quality, well worth staying at the hotel for. Marta was super friendly and a great asset to the hotel.

The staff made the place feel warm and welcoming. Every employee I passed smiled and said hello, even when I was just wandering around. The hotel itself exceeded my expectations and felt like excellent value for the price. I especially appreciated the peaceful setting among the flowers and how quiet my room was, away from the main pool. There are two outdoor pools, one indoor pool, and a huge spa, with free use of the spa facilities. The beds were very comfortable, dinner was delicious, and the minibar snacks and drinks were complimentary. The pool opens at 7 am, which is great for a quiet morning swim. There was plenty to do, including kayaking, SUP, and evening dance tutorials, while the hotel still felt calm and relaxing. The Wi-Fi was good and parking was free. I'd highly recommend it for the facilities, atmosphere, service, food, and activities.

The staff were lovely and helpful, and really good with children. There's a big pool in the main hotel area, plus a small heated pool nearby that worked well for our baby. The kids' splash pool is in a playground on the edge of the hotel, away from the main pool, and has no sun loungers, so it's not somewhere you'd stay for long. The buses are reliable and useful for getting around, but they can be busy and don't wait around. You have to fold prams before boarding, which is tricky with a small baby and takes two people to manage the buggy and baby. I'd recommend bringing a sling or carrier.

The accommodation is beautiful, and the location is perfect. The food was lovely and the evening entertainment was brilliant. Huge shout out to Cami, who made my daughter's holiday extra special. She's an absolute credit to the hotel and animation team.
