We enjoyed lunch under the lemon tree in the lovely garden, including one of its lemons. The house is very pretty, and our room was spacious, quiet, and clean, though the shower is quite small. We stayed before the summer rush and found the entrance tricky when coming from Lugo: the house is 100 m beyond the exit Google points to. The pension hosts said Google hasn’t corrected it, so take your time finding the place. Breakfast was five euros each. The hosts were very nice, especially mamá, who told us a lot about local life. It’s close to the cathedrals beach, and I highly recommend staying overnight and having breakfast. It’s totally worth it.

The room is on the top floor, so getting there means climbing stairs, and it isn’t suitable for people with mobility issues. The place itself was clean and very nice, with a few ducks and cats in the yard. We met Elena and her son, who were charming and welcoming, though they didn’t speak much English. We stayed here the night before going to Playa de las catedrales, and it was a great spot for being close by. If you speak Spanish, send our regards to Elena.

Our room had a traditional feel and was clean and very comfortable, and the guest house has a lovely, peaceful garden. After we arrived from a festival needing fresh clothes, the host kindly washed and dried our things for us. Breakfast was delicious, and we felt well cared for. It’s a quiet spot very close to the beach, and the hosts were so kind. Thank you!

The garden is gorgeous, a lovely place to spend an afternoon. Ask Roberto for a tour, he’s more than happy to show you around. Casa Elena is family-run, cozy, and authentic, with hosts who are available, responsive, and glad to answer questions or have a chat. It’s ideally placed for visiting playa de las cathedrales, which is breathtaking. We had such a beautiful stay.

The garden was well cared for, and our room was clean and roomy enough. We enjoyed every moment at this excellent B&B. It’s very close to the "Playa de Cathedrales". We’d come back someday.
