The rooms were very clean and presentable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Getting in touch was a hassle, though. The published phone number was difficult to reach, nobody was at reception in the afternoon, and our call eventually went to the restaurant, where they gave us a different number to arrange check-in. We could hear other guests’ conversations from the hall and even in our room, as there’s no soundproofing. The spring mattress was also old and worn. Still, this rustic, cosy hostel is well placed for visiting Granada without paying city prices or dealing with the city crowds. It isn’t luxurious, but for the price it did the job for a few days.

The TV only worked on and off. The room was spacious, with a full bathroom and a decent shower, plus a comfortable bed. The area suited what we needed.

We were working nearby and stayed for 5 nights. The rooms were cosy and comfortable, and breakfast was at a nearby restaurant. They made everything the way we liked it and were incredibly attentive to what we needed. We had a fantastic experience and would stay there again if we’re back in the area.

I called to confirm that pets were allowed without a fee, since Booking.com advertised the place as pet-friendly. They told me they didn’t allow pets, so I’d made the reservation based on information on Booking.com that listed several places as pet-friendly.
