Hotel Pepa

The phone service was pleasant, and the room was comfortable with a clean bathroom. But the in-person service wasn't pleasant. I saw them treating a gentleman with ill will. The restaurant staff were no better, including the person in the kitchen. They all looked as though they were being made to work. I'm not saying they have to keep smiling in the wind. Still, it doesn't hurt to be kind and professional, greet people with a good evening, and ask what they'd like to drink. Thanks, but no.

The toilets were disgusting, as if they hadn't been cleaned for a week, and the toilet doors had no locks. The staff were unfriendly, and the food wasn't anything special. Out of 10, I'd give the Supa de Pescado 5, the Bistec de ternera plancha 6, and the Budin al coach 7. There are plenty of better options. First visit, last visit.

The staff were friendly enough, and the food looked good and tasted fine, but it wasn't hot enough. The starter was lukewarm, while the chips were cold and tasted old. My steak was a little tough and more cooked than I'd asked for, medium rare. At €15, it was too much for the quality I got today. €9 would feel fairer. I'll give it one more try, since hot food would have made for a different experience. My wife liked her meal and said the pasta was freshly made.

Good restaurant, and the service girl was very friendly and beautiful. Keep up the good work!
