Apartamentos Casa La Cuca

The town has only a few services, but for a short stay they're enough if you're out during the day. There’s a pool, a few bars, medical services, and a pharmacy. At the house, the kitchen and dining area could use more natural light, and sound carries between the bedrooms. We were usually out early and back late, so it didn’t bother us much. We stayed as two adults with our child, and the place was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped. M. Ángeles was very welcoming. We had a very positive stay, would return, and recommend it.

The attic apartment could use a little more daylight, and we suspect it may get quite hot in summer. But the children were thrilled by the extra attic space above the bathroom, reached by a big staircase, with a mattress where they could sleep. They liked it even more than the regular double room. There’s a garden with toys and a large trampoline, and we were given a free ticket to Dinópolis along with some breakfast items in case we hadn’t brought any. A dual electric car charger is nearby, though it wasn’t working yet during our stay. La Cuca is a lovingly restored traditional family home, now divided into four fully equipped apartments. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. From arrival to departure, we had a very good stay. The family running this rural business helped us with everything and made us feel welcome. We’re glad to have met them and hope the place has a long, successful future. We definitely recommend it.

The courtyard had a trampoline, which the kids enjoyed. We stayed in the loft, with an extra bed in a small attic space reached by ladder, so they had fun climbing up and down. The house is in a village and is divided across several rooms and floors, all equipped. It had more useful things than any place we’d seen, from pans and an oven to a microwave, breakfast items, and a hairdryer. It’s a country house with everything you could need.

We slept wonderfully during our three nights here, and the owner was really friendly. We were a family of five with three children and a small dog, and found the apartment comfortable and practical. The village is charming, and Dinópolis is about a 20-minute drive away, which is why we booked. Everything was very clean, including the towels and sheets, and they left cleaning products for us. There were little bottles of shower gel too, plus breakfast things that the children especially loved. We highly recommend the place.
