Cortijo El Molinillo

We had the whole place to ourselves as a large group, and everything was very clean. The pool was fantastic, and the inner courtyard with its barbecues was a real plus. Lolo, the owner, was always available and ready to help make our stay go well. We heard ownership had changed, and the place is really great now. The facilities and rooms were good too, though a few small details could still be improved.

I wouldn't trust the person handling rentals. We had booked all five houses, but he let us down the day before we were due to cancel. He wouldn't even meet us and explain properly why he wasn't renting them out. When we went to look, the houses were a complete mess, covered in cobwebs and dead flies, with weeds grown all over. Be careful about renting this place.

The new owners have refreshed the whole complex and added new decor. They were a very kind couple, and made sure every detail was right while we were there. It's one of Granada's best spots for spiritual retreats and outdoor meditation, and we definitely plan to come back soon. Thanks for everything, Joana and Antonio!

The staff were welcoming and friendly, but the accommodation was filthy and nothing like the description we were given. Bits of the wall even fell onto us above the bed. The plumbing smelled so bad we had to hold our noses in the shower, and the odor was still unbearable. We didn't mind too much that there was no Wi-Fi, but the broken refrigerator was a serious problem. Nobody had warned us, and all our groceries spoiled; we got sick afterward too. The pool water seemed so unsanitary that I had allergic reactions. Other guests we spoke to all said the description was inaccurate. Noise from the neighbors was so bad during the last two days that we left three days early. Truly disappointing.
