We spent four nights here, and we're coming back. The family who runs the hotel is so friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome, even when the weather's bad. Jose, Rosa, and their mum, who greets you by the stairs, are especially lovely. The room cleaners wear pristine white uniforms and do an excellent job. Some rooms have their own kitchen and bathroom. There's also a kitchen with an oven and a washer/dryer upstairs on the balcony that guests can use. My partner found the mattress really comfortable. This isn't a Hilton-style place, so keep that in mind.

Everyone here seems committed to making guests feel welcome, which is what I love about a family-run place. The owners are wonderful, the place is clean, and the beds were the most comfortable I've come across in Spain.

For €31.50, the room was decent, though not ideal, and cost more than the hotels I'd booked in Seville or Cádiz. It was a large room with a street-facing balcony and a good-sized bathroom, but the furnishings were basic. The hostess welcomed me warmly and spoke excellent English, so the service was very pleasing. I stayed one night in late December. The place is near both the port and the town centre, with a good café downstairs. The area felt unsafe to me and didn't have the same pleasant atmosphere as Seville or Cádiz.

This is my favorite place in Andalusia. There's a great terrace and a shared kitchen, and the staff are really friendly. The location is good, close to the farmers' and fish markets, and fairly near the sea. The rooms are nice and have air conditioning, and there's a washing machine if you need to do laundry. Cafés are about 50 m away for breakfast. If you're coming to Algeciras, I'd definitely recommend it.
