The location is right in the center, and the staff are great. The rooms are clean, with big shared areas in the building.

The sheets were filthy, and the replacement set I asked for was dirty too. I slept terribly. I’ve stayed in some really cheap hostels, but none have been as dirty as this one. It cost €45 and advertised a bathroom and shower, yet neither worked. There wasn’t even a socket for charging my phone. I’d never come back, even if I were drunk. I left this review because there was no other option.

For 40 euros, the double room was very dirty and unsanitary, and had no window. The families supposedly living in guesthouses seem to treat them like home. You can’t use the toilets or showers in the corridors because they belong to the hotel, and the manager says he can’t do anything. There are lots of families living in hotels in Algeciras. I don’t recommend this place. The best hotel is opposite the port in Algeciras, even though it’s expensive. It’s a great hotel, and most of the people staying there work at the port. Don’t stay in the city center of Algeciras, because all the hotels are unsanitary and very dirty, with many families living in guesthouses with their children. Honestly, I’m glad I live in France. Spain is nothing like it. Thank God, and thank you very much.
