The rooms are nice, and the beds are really comfortable, with high-quality wool blankets that are warm enough for winter. But what I loved most was the feel of the shared spaces. I could spend a whole day in one of those comfortable armchairs with tea, a book or newspaper, or browsing online, listening to the Christmas music in the background. The dining room food is basic, but well prepared and enjoyable, and the breakfast buffet is wonderful too. The location is convenient, right across from the train station and beside the main bus terminal. It’s a five-minute walk to the old town, with its restaurants and good shopping. The hotel isn’t the Ritz Carlton, but I found it just as pleasant and enjoyable. The bathroom layout is clever. The toilet and bidet are in their own little area behind a sliding door, so someone else can use the rest of the bathroom at the same time. The older fixtures are good quality and work perfectly. The shower has plenty of pressure and steady temperature, and the thick bath sheets are excellent. I rarely say this about a hotel, but I absolutely love this place. As a former hotel owner, I congratulate the current owners, management, and staff on the comfort and quality. My one complaint: there’s no soap dispenser by the bidet.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the hotel is quiet. Breakfast is good quality, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s about five minutes from the ferry port, right next to the bus station. I’d definitely stay here again.

I couldn’t rest with the constant reversing beeps from the parking lot outside my balcony. My room was a connecting room, and even with the connecting door locked I could hear everything the neighbors said. The male receptionist spoke extremely loudly, too. When I asked to move, he cut me off straight away and said there were no rooms available. I told him he was being rude, but he brushed me off. The service felt very unprofessional, and I’d strongly warn Spanish customers and tourists against staying here, especially in a connecting room. There’s only one elevator, and its button lights don’t work.

The room was spacious and had just been renovated. It’s within walking distance of the Port of Algeciras, the railway station, and the bus station, yet it stays pretty quiet, so it’s a nice place to relax. Recommended for a short stay.

The hotel is very comfortable and conveniently located near Algeciras Train station. Luis at reception was really helpful and made my stay there very pleasant.
