The room itself was adequate, but I thought it could have been cleaner. What made the stay unpleasant was how clearly I could hear everything around me: the TV in the next room stayed on all night, someone was vomiting uncontrollably at five in the morning, and there were doors slamming and people coming and going. The staff were friendly when they gave me the room and got me settled.

A handy place to pull over, park by the road, and stop for a meal or a night.

There was a really bad smell in the room. It looked tidy at first, except the blankets were covering sheets that were very dirty.

They started construction at 8:50 without warning. It wasn't an emergency, they were taking out the bathtub to put in a shower tray and screen. The electric hammer was so loud that it felt like the room might collapse. A terrible experience.

The homemade food was excellent, and the staff were spectacular and very friendly. The rooms, though, were terrible. The beds were badly worn, with the springs showing, and between a rooster that wakes you at 6:00 AM without fail and all the dogs barking, it's not somewhere to sleep. Such a shame about the rooms and noise, because otherwise it was very good.
