The positive parts were the clean, inexpensive room, working air conditioning, and nice terrace views. But the bed was uncomfortable, the room small, service limited, and privacy minimal. We were lucky to share the house with a lovely family; otherwise, I’d rather not imagine how it might have been. The hostel next door takes over the pool with loud parties until the early hours, so there’s no rural quiet. There’s nobody to complain to, and you’re left putting up with it or giving up the pool you paid for. Other reviews talk about Yoli’s time there, and it sounds like her charm and attentiveness made up for the accommodation’s downsides. Maybe Yoli should have found somewhere else to show what she can do.

Algodonales is a peaceful little town. From the balcony, you can see Zahara de la Sierra lit up at night, and it’s about a 20-minute drive away. The apartment felt cozy and had good views, plus a roomy living room, free WiFi, and a gas kitchen with a microwave, fridge, and freezer.

Good value, and the staff were very friendly. Parking was easy, and Zahara, El Gastor, and Olvera are all very close. I’d recommend it to skiers and adventurers wanting to explore the area and nearby surroundings.

The owner treated us very well, and the service was exceptional. The accommodation was very clean, had all the amenities, and was in a convenient location.
