Cortijo Las Montoras

We loved waking up in the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in, and appreciated the sustainable rural lifestyle and vegan and vegetarian food. Cortijo Las Montoras is incredibly beautiful, with a shaded patio, pool, yoga and meditation area, views of Andalucia’s olive-covered mountains, birdsong, bees pollinating and plenty of room for a hammock. Three dogs and a cat roam around the big garden. Alina and Lawrence greeted us warmly and treated us like family throughout our week there. Learning about the cortijo’s history from them was inspiring. It was an authentic, romantic stay and gave us everything we wanted for a break from busy work and city life. Thank you, see you soon 💜🫒

From the patio there’s a wonderful view across the olive-covered hills, and the landscape around this cozy B&B near the small village of Santa Cruz is stunning. The area is quiet and full of nature. Lawrence and Alina are warm, lovely owners who do everything they can to make your stay unforgettable. I had a wonderful time.

The food was superb, and the hosts were great. I stayed at the cortijo in May, surrounded by beautiful scenery and nature, with a plunge pool too. It’s very peaceful and a lovely place to relax. I’ll definitely go back!

A great place for anyone who likes trekking or biking and wants to be close to nature. The owners are super friendly, and the bedrooms are well equipped. I loved it.
