The room was clean, comfortable, and fine. The owner lives in the building opposite and wasn’t very friendly; he should try to be friendlier to guests. I could keep my bicycle in the room, though I had to carry it up one flight of stairs.

The beds are good, but the building and rooms are old. The power sockets are very high up, which makes charging gadgets awkward.

I’ve stayed here three times, in three different rooms. There are several hallways and lots of rooms in the building, and for the price it’s generally quite good. It’s right in the town center by the town hall square, and I found it very clean with nothing unusual going on. The furniture and facilities are old, some things are worn, the walls are thin, and you can hear everything. Still, I’ve paid more for places that were much worse. The air conditioning and TV work well, and the shower gets very hot with good pressure. The Wi-Fi is terrible, though, and so is the coverage. My last stay was a different story. We were told to use a back entrance facing the road, where there were ground-floor rooms I hadn’t even known about. Strange people kept coming and going, banging and making noise. Next door, an older man talked nonstop, and a woman coughed violently all night. It sounded like she might choke or have a heart attack, which was distressing. The next day we had to unlock the door for two men who looked unwell and smelled of alcohol because they didn’t know where they were. There was no peace and quiet. The bed springs dug into us, and the internet didn’t work at all, neither Wi-Fi nor mobile data. We don’t know why.

For the price, I won’t complain too much, but some promised services weren’t there. They gave us the Wi-Fi password, but even after trying to connect repeatedly, we couldn’t send a WhatsApp message. The walls seem thin enough that you can hear everything. We sat next to a woman coughing all night and barely slept. Strangely, despite how much noise carries through the walls, there’s no cell service inside.
