The house is full of old-fashioned charm and was comfortable to stay in. It’s close to the church dedicated to Sta. Mariña, a much-revered saint throughout Galicia. Mariña welcomed us into her centuries-old family home as if we were friends, and was such a thoughtful host. I hope I can stay in your lovely home again, Mariña. Thanks for having us!

We came for two days and really didn’t want to leave. The river, trees, and surrounding landscape were stunning, with nature at its best. The house has a special charm and is beautiful inside. Monica and her husband looked after us so warmly, and we felt incredibly comfortable. They were attentive to everything, it was all a thousand out of ten.

The stone house and the village were lovely, and Marina made us feel very welcome. We only stayed one night, but had everything we needed. In December the heating reached from the entrance right through to the bedrooms, so we could be indoors without a coat. It’s 6 km from Allariz. We’d happily return.

Marina really is the soul of the house. Thanks for the warm welcome, all the care, and the friendship. The house is well equipped, with a pool and pleasant surroundings, and sits in a very quiet parish close to Allariz. A lovely place to unwind and get away from the everyday rush.

We were treated like we were staying with a much-loved relative, and Marina made our time there such a pleasure. She gave us tips on places to see and restaurants worth trying. The breakfasts she serves are generous and delicious, too. The house is practically a museum, with Marina’s impeccable decorating taste, and the cleanliness and peace of the village stood out. The village itself is simply wonderful. My wife and I are sure we’ll return to S.D.Q. whenever we’re in Galicia.
