Torre Lombarda

The location is great, and the hotel interior is pretty and distinctive, inside a historic landmark with private parking. Carmen, the cleaning lady, was so lovely and kind; she warmed my heart and gave us great navigation tips and recommendations. But the room didn’t look like the pictures, which felt misleading. For one night booked by phone, we were charged 75 euros. The woman said we had to stay two nights, but the booking website showed the same room available for one night at 59-65 euros. For that price, I’d look for a better deal. The room was cold, with no heat or extra soft blankets or pillows, and the bed was very uncomfortable. The floor squeaked, and noise carried through the walls. We could hear people showering, using toilets, and walking around. It wasn’t worth the money. If you want a quiet, warm room with a comfortable bed, you may want to stay somewhere else. I hope anyone reading this finds something better.

The hotel’s charm comes from its beautifully restored historic building, and everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. From arrival, the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s clear they take pride in looking after guests. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Torre Lombarda in Allariz and will definitely return. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

A very authentic place with an unbelievable atmosphere. The staff were attentive, and breakfast was great. They even gave us a very tasty cake "for a picnic". The bed was nice and the amenities were good.
