Finding the place and getting around it were both difficult. My room was on the second floor and there was no lift, so hauling my large, heavy suitcase up the stairs was a real ordeal. The room itself was a pleasant surprise, smart and no-nonsense. Stay here if you want to be right in the center of things. Just be aware there's no central heating, so it can get a little cold in winter.

The room was fab, with great beds, and I slept really well. Breakfast was very good and self-service, and entry worked with passcodes, so there were no keys to collect. It's about a mile on foot from the bus station, though there may be buses if you need one. The hotel is close to Plaza De Torros, several historic buildings in Almeria, and lots of cafes and other places to eat. I'd recommend it and stay again.

WARNING, the advertised car park isn't available. A few days ago, I stayed here and only learned by text or WhatsApp after booking that there's no on-site parking. It was a nightmare to find, and I had to park six streets away. The accommodation itself is okay, but breakfast is help-yourself in a small kitchen with only a few chairs. It felt hostel-style, with 15 people trying to eat at once. People started leaving at 6:45am and made plenty of noise, so there was no need for an alarm. All in all, not the best, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The room, number 1, was very noisy, with an annoying sound going on all day and night. It seemed like some kind of electric motor. The beds were too short, and the shower kept switching between hot and cold. The room is cheap, but I'd definitely pick another hotel.
