The room was amazingly clean and comfy. Parking, though, is hell.

My reservation on Booking was cancelled the night before I was due to arrive, with no explanation. The service was shallow.

The apartment was a pleasant surprise: spacious, comfortable and clean, with a very easy check-in and check-out. Ours was at street level. They left earplugs for us, but we didn’t actually need them. We only stayed two nights and wouldn’t be using the freezer, so its dirt didn’t bother us too much, though we did report it. If anything goes wrong, you have to contact offices in Madrid. I’m not sure how that would work for a serious problem. Still, I’d recommend the place.

We were happy to be contacted afterwards, and a solution was offered, but the stay itself was disappointing. The studio is in Almeria’s old quarter, near good restaurants, with a garage close by for €20 per day. Check-in was smooth, and it was nicely furnished and wheelchair accessible, with an adequately equipped bathroom. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked, there was enough kitchenware, and we could use a washing machine in the shared area. It was very noisy, which we could tell from the earplugs already on the nightstand. Young people in two other rooms were loud and drinking. The immediate neighbors happened to be away from 8:00 PM to 8:30 AM for a nearby festival. The shower drain was so poor that water flowed into the room. That wasn’t because there was no screen, despite the landlord’s claim. They offered extra towels as a solution. Two lamps had no bulbs, and those couldn’t be replaced before we left. We understand things can go wrong, but we were barely believed and had to send photos several times. They promise 24-hour service, but we didn’t get it. Someone also said they’d reply to a question within an hour and didn’t. We wanted to leave, but couldn’t find another place, so stayed one night and left the next day. We hope the company refunds the second night for the inconvenience. That would be to their credit.
