Son Boronat

Every morning, Francisco prepared a lovely breakfast with homemade treats and fresh local ingredients. His care and enthusiasm came through in every bite, and it was a perfect way to begin the day. Son Boronat is an old historic finca in quiet hills, full of history and authenticity. The views are breathtaking, and there’s a deep sense of peace across the property. It’s a charming place where history and nature meet in quiet luxury. We can’t wait to return to this little paradise.

We’ve now returned to Son Boronat for a second time, and since we had such a good stay, we hope to come back next year too. It’s a lovely countryside farmhouse near Palma de Mallorca, surrounded by nature and styled elegantly. The rooms are cozy, cleanliness is impeccable, and all the staff are extremely helpful. Francisco is fantastic at breakfast and makes the best scrambled eggs in Palma.

Our room felt like home, with a lovely balance of comfort and style, and two private outdoor spaces to sit. From the swimming pool, the view was unusual and beautiful, with hundreds of birds darting among the trees and singing. The finca itself is beautiful, the owners are lovely, and the setting is gorgeous. We had a heavenly few days and can’t wait to return.

We loved that this is a quiet, small hotel of about eight rooms, tucked away from the usual routes. The pool is fantastic, and the one meal we had at the hotel was excellent. The owners gave us a warm welcome and great recommendations, and they kept in touch by phone with more restaurant suggestions. Francisco and his wife are lovely people. He looks after the kitchen, she takes care of the rooms, and the Austrian gardener is super nice too. Francisco told me a lot about the hotel’s history. It’s definitely my first choice when we travel to Mallorca again. In short, Champions League.
