The garden at the back is such a lovely spot, with terrace seating and a seasonal pool. Our room was sweet, and the kind staff put out a nice breakfast. It’s a delightful local inn right in beautiful Almonaster, handy for wandering the old narrow streets, visiting the hilltop mezquita and bullring, or heading out on the mountain trails.

The only downside was how far away it is from Barcelona. A group of friends who came from different parts of Spain met up here for our own little party, and the unique atmosphere at Posada el Camino made the few days unforgettable. The whole team was lovely, with no complaints at all. Thanks, Emilio, Yaiza, Gonzalo, and everyone else. See you in a year!

Emilio and the other hosts were always ready to help if anything came up, and made us feel at ease. We especially enjoyed the restaurant: the local dishes were delicious, and service was quick and efficient. The inn sits in the heart of the Sierra de Almonaster la Real, in a beautiful, welcoming village, with the village itself very close by. The facilities and swimming pool were clean and in perfect condition, and parking right at the inn was easy and free. It’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We’ll be back soon.

We spent a wonderful few days here with our family. Emilio and the whole staff were outstanding, and their hospitality was priceless. We loved the food and highly recommend it. The facilities were wonderful too. Thank you so much, Emilio, for everything. We’ll definitely be back.
