The beach is practically on the doorstep, and the hotel pools are good, with a lifeguard on duty. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty to choose from, including eggs, cereal, bread, and good coffee. The rooms feel modern and people are friendly. It’s a very large hotel, probably the biggest in Matalasçanas, and the corridors can get noisy. Still, a good choice.

The food was the main letdown for me. The cereal tasted stale, and at breakfast I could only manage toast or savory things like sausages and eggs. At dinner, pasta was the only thing I could eat. Tastes differ, of course, but I wasn't keen on it. The rest was good: a beautiful, modern interior, big bright rooms, and a large cafeteria with a bar. They have games and activities there at night, with music and lights, and there's a big swimming pool with lots of activities too. It's a 3-star hotel right by the lovely Atlantic beach.

The common areas and lobby are roomy and comfortable, and the rooms are spacious with great ocean views. Some renovation is needed in the rooms, but the place is decent overall.
