The rooms are clean and roomy, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, as well as all the visitor centres. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It’s a fantastic little hotel and a great place to stay, so don’t hesitate to book.

Breakfast was awful, with stale, hard old bread, packaged sweet snacks, and coffee from the machine that wasn’t drinkable. We ended up going elsewhere for breakfast. In the front room, a mat blocks the balcony and can’t be rolled up, so you don’t get a view of the square.

The location is ideal for paragliders heading to soar the ridge at Matalascanas beach, and right in the centre of El Rocío. The breakfast is good, the showers are lovely, and the place is kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Rooms are basic, without a fridge, crockery, or utensils, but comfortable enough. Staff are helpful and the internet is fast. Good value for the price.
