If you don't own a boat, there's really nothing interesting here.

There are boats of all kinds at this marina, along with bars, restaurants, shops, and businesses renting boats and diving gear. It also has useful facilities like toilets, showers, laundry, and a book exchange area. The place is spacious and comfortable, with parking inside and by the entrance. It's in La Herradura, quite close to Almuñécar, though getting there means taking a narrow, winding road through a wooded area, so access can be a bit tricky.

A beautiful, picturesque harbor, and the little beach is lovely too. There are lots of divers around, and dogs are allowed.

There's plenty to see at this nice port, including lots of large ships. Mooring fees must take a lot of money, so I won't even get into what they cost.

The parking management is disgraceful, with misleading advertising and exorbitant prices. They charge 10 euros for 24-hour parking, but one day they let you leave and come back as often as you like, while the next day they say you can't re-enter and must pay 10 euros in the morning and another 10 in the afternoon. Absolutely deplorable. They're scammers. AVOID PARKING THERE.
