We spent almost two weeks here and loved having such a cosy, thoughtfully designed place to come back to. It’s a great base for mountain villages and hikes, and the view from the balcony is a treat, with birdsong in the background. The hosts shared plenty of useful local restaurant tips and were very generous. Wi-Fi was strong enough for me to get my work done, even outside. A comfortable little cocoon for exploring amazing Andalucia or just staying in with wine and tapas. I’d absolutely recommend it.

We stayed for about a week in December and found the apartment very comfortable, with all the essentials. It has an air conditioning and heating unit. The owners were kind and flexible, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The studio El Torcal was super clean, and its kitchen had everything we needed. Rita and John welcomed us warmly with a drink and treats, and gave us lots of ideas for things to do nearby. We enjoyed the conversations and the wonderfully peaceful surroundings. Just keep in mind that you need a car to get around and do things. We had a fantastic holiday.

Casa Alora made us feel at home right away. John and Rita are incredibly kind, the casitas are fully equipped, and we loved the privacy and pool. We had a fantastic September holiday here. It’s also a great base for Andalusia, with Málaga, Cordoba, Granada, and Seville all among the cities to visit. We’ll definitely come back.
