Francisco was a wonderful host, happy to share helpful information about the area and restaurants. The charming house sleeps up to 12 and is perfectly placed for the shuttle and the end of the Cominito del Rey hike, which is a must-do. A perfect place to stay in El Chorro.

The house was ideal for our group of nine, with plenty of seating, a fully equipped kitchen, three bathrooms, and clean white bedding and towels. We came to walk the Caminito del Rey (Walk of the Kings), just ten minutes away. Nearby there are a couple of lovely bars and a hotel restaurant with stunning views. The train station is a five-minute walk, and we took the train to Malaga for the day, €10 return. Our host Francisco was very helpful finding information for us, and we got our deposit back within a day. I’d love to return and highly recommend Francisco El Descansito Del Rey.

The house is spacious and has a kitchen and barbecue, with excellent reviews for both winter and summer. Francisco was incredibly helpful. It’s right in the heart of the Caminito del Rey in Málaga, surrounded by spectacular nature, a lovely place to unwind and recharge for a few days. Just bring the desire and time, and the rest is here in the house.

Francisco is a delight and always ready to help. The house was very clean and well maintained, with everything we needed in the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms. We spent New Year here, and it’s well situated for walking the Camito del Rey and nearby hiking trails. Highly recommended.

We came here to climb, and the Frontales Medias climbing areas were only a 20-minute walk away. We were delighted with the house: spacious, well equipped, and with impeccable service. I highly recommend it.
