Breakfast was included, a nice touch from the owner. The house has plenty of equipment across two floors and an attic, so it works well for a family with kids. You can park less than 50 meters away, and it's right in the town center, near several restaurants on the main square. Ampuero is easy to reach by highway, a little over an hour from San Vicente de la Barquera or Bilbao. Highly recommended and affordable.

The house and its location worked perfectly for our family New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. The owner was so welcoming, too. We had a perfect stay, 10 out of 10. Thanks for everything.

The house was quiet and insulated from noise, and the beds were comfortable with soft towels. It has two floors and an attic, with room for about ten people, and is well equipped. Mari Loli met us with the keys, showed us around, and pointed out useful places in the village. She'd also thoughtfully left us breakfast.

The back rooms were impossible to sleep in on Saturday because people were still drinking in the street at 6 a.m. There’s a nearby pub, and the town council should really deal with that. Still, we'd stay again if we’re in the area. The house is old but very well looked after and incredibly clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, including breakfast supplies, and extra towels, even with eight of us. It's a great example of an older place that hasn't become outdated.
