Caserio Iruaritz

We had dinner and breakfast there, and both were good value. Dinner was a homemade Spanish set menu with limited choice, including coffee, bread, wine, and water for 20€. Breakfast for 8€ came with pan con tomate, ham and cheese, fresh croissants, coffee, and freshly squeezed orange juice. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was good. They even provided a few small extras like shampoo and a shower cap. There was a kettle and some herbal teas, though no coffee in the room, and the logo on everything was a nice touch. We had a car and a large trailer, which we’d mentioned in advance; they were very accommodating and showed us where to park. The owner was friendly and helpful throughout, and we were welcomed in English, which we appreciated since we don’t speak Spanish fluently. From our first email to checkout, everything went smoothly. We’ll stay again when we sail from Bilbao.

The food and service were second to none, and our host was wonderful, always ready to help. We were welcomed as soon as we got out of the car, then shown to a beautiful room. We booked this stunning place on the way to the Bilbao Ferry, and what a treat it turned out to be. We’ll definitely come back when we travel this way.

The food was good, especially breakfast, and the shower was excellent. The host and service were spot on. The room was comfortable, though it felt a little tired.

A lovely break on our motorbike road trip, staying in this beautiful house. The service was very personal, and everything was just right. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.
