Bahía Suites Camp De Mar

We visited in the off-season, when the hotel wasn’t full, so breakfast and the spa were especially quiet and relaxing. It’s in a beautiful bay about 20 minutes from Palma, and most rooms have a great sunset view. Our room was clean and the staff were very friendly. Two things kept it from being perfect. The room service staff were kind, but the room wasn’t cleaned very regularly, which could be a problem on a longer stay. The hotel restaurant is also expensive for what you get. I ordered cheesecake once: it was delicious, but the slice was tiny for 7.5 EUR, like the tip had been cut off. I didn’t take a photo, and some starters were similar. I’d still recommend the hotel, especially if you’re planning to eat at other restaurants.

The staff were friendly and always ready to help, and both breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant were delicious. Breakfast had plenty of good-quality options, and dinner was tasty too. Our room was new, exceptionally clean and spacious enough for two, with everything we needed. The sea-view veranda was beautiful. The kitchen had cookware, the air conditioning worked well, and there were cosy bathrobes, slippers and nice-smelling toiletries and soaps. If you stay in during the day, you can lounge by the pool or take a lounger onto the grassy hillside for views of the sea, boats and cliffs. We also tried the spa: the sauna was pleasantly warm, around 80°C, and the indoor pool was warmer than the outdoor one. Bear in mind this is a family-friendly hotel. There can be noise from children playing in the pools, and the atmosphere is more for families than for a romantic stay.

I only came for lunch, didn’t stay here, and it was easily the best meal of my trip. Incredible food, great wine and perfect coffee. Left very full and happy.

Breakfast was a treat, with fresh-baked pastries and a thoughtful spread of morning options. The views were stunning too, and we can’t wait to return. Rafel deserves a special mention for greeting us so warmly and setting the tone for the stay. His kindness and attentiveness went well beyond what we expected, as did the service from the rest of the team. We were so glad we chose this hotel.
