What made this little family run hotel special was how welcome we felt. Breakfast was lovely and personal, with the host bringing out trays of food, coffee, and juice. Our room was cozy, and we liked the decor and intimate feel at breakfast. It’s peaceful here, yet close to the port and restaurants, with incredible beaches a short drive away. There’s a good sized parking lot, though we only used the car for beach trips. The downsides were no Wi-Fi in the rooms and no air conditioning, just fans, which could be uncomfortable in warmer months or on a longer stay. I’d still love to return to Catalina Vera.

Breakfast being included and the free parking being plentiful made the stay comfortable. The rooms are warm and cozy, and the atmosphere and surroundings are just right. I only wish there had been air conditioning. Otherwise, it was great, and we’d come back for Pablo 🌟

Pablo made our stay even better with his kindness, openness, and thoughtful attention. He also gave us great tips for nearby beaches, restaurants, and walks. My sister and I loved the beautiful room and terrace looking over the harbour, and the owners were so charming and welcoming. Breakfast was included and delicious. The hotel has an authentic, lovely interior, and everything in town is within walking distance, which made for a very relaxed holiday. Thanks so much, Pablo. We’ll be back :)

Breakfast comes on a platter, which I thought was a nice change from a buffet. It’s served in the main house, surrounded by lovely paintings and other art. The hosts are outgoing and warm, and the rooms are spacious, very tidy, with comfortable beds and a fairly large bathroom. Hostal catalona vera is a cute place with lovely hosts. I’d definitely recommend it for a short visit or a longer vacation.
