We stayed in one of the two-bedroom villas, one of six beside reception. It had its own small pool and sunbathing area, kept immaculately clean and tidy. The main pool was superb, with a full-time lifeguard. Breakfast at the lovely Trattoria was amazing every morning. From there, you can walk to the sister hotel, Monport, which has an excellent restaurant as well. This is the quieter part of Port d’Andratx, a comfortable distance from the busy harbour strip with its bars and restaurants. The staff throughout our relaxing stay at Pergola were welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The staff made our family holiday, they were kind, helpful and polite from beginning to end. We were glad we booked half board, as the food was fantastic. The hotel was beautiful, very clean and relaxing, and the local town is a 20-minute walk away.

The apartment we stayed in was spacious and clean, and breakfast had a wide range of choices. The location is very good, there’s plenty of parking, and the staff were welcoming and friendly throughout. We had no hot water for two days. The hotel offered a complimentary dinner to make up for it, which was kind, but the meal was disappointing, mostly reheated, bland food without much flavour. There was also a mix-up on the final bill: another guest had charged food to our room. The hotel fixed it eventually, but it caused needless confusion and stress. They should ask guests to sign or show their room card when charging things to a room, to avoid this happening again. Despite those problems, we enjoyed our stay at La Pergola. A few improvements could make it even better. I’d rate it 4.5 stars, but that option wasn’t available.

We had plenty of parking on site and lots of sunbeds by the pool. The walk into the port is short, and there are some top-class restaurants there. This is a really nice aparthotel on the quieter side of Port d’Andratx. The staff were very helpful, and the welcome felt personal: a complimentary drink and a staff member walking us to our room.
