The spa is on the small side, but it has a nice feel and offers a great range of massages and other face and body treatments. The hotel’s also well placed for easy access to beautiful mountain walks, and the gym is well equipped. On arrival, I was greeted with a smile and offered a refreshing drink. I was pleased to hear I’d been upgraded to a better room. The breakfast was a real highlight, excellent, with attentive and helpful staff. I really enjoyed my stay at the Mon Port and look forward to coming back. It’s a shame the hotel closes in January, since I’d have loved to return for my birthday. Ah well, birthday celebrations postponed!

The location was a real plus: a short walk into town, while the hotel sits in a quiet spot on the hill with no car noise. We were there over Christmas and were pleasantly surprised by both the hotel and the service. Staff were attentive and friendly, spoke English and German, and even left us a small Christmas gift. The rooms are simple, modern and clean, with good room service. The gym and spa were both very clean and well equipped. We also liked the varied restaurant menu, which included healthy vegetarian, vegan and celiac-friendly options, and the breakfast buffet was lovely. I’d recommend hiking up the hill for the views over town and the coastline. I’d happily come back.

What made our stay memorable was how kind and helpful everyone was. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and make the visit special. The dance teachers deserve a mention, along with Damián. The hotel is also in a great spot near lovely Port D’Andratx.

Jasmina, the restaurant Manager, deserves special thanks. She has been amazing each time we’ve visited, and now runs the restaurant with real care for guests and professionalism. She’s a huge asset to Mon Port and La Pergola, and the rest of the staff could learn from her example. We’ve stayed at Mon Port many times over the years and have always appreciated the peaceful setting and attention to detail. Thank you for another wonderful stay. Gill & John Hamilton xx

The bay is beautiful, though you need to know it’s not close to Palma and you’ll need a car. The staff are so friendly, and breakfast is perfect. Rooms are good, just not perfect, and the pool is small.
